Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks and Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started writing policy and nuclear energy documents to the White House. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she stopped her pursuit and decided to purchase a smaller specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success for 18 years before she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. Several other books and magazine articles followed. Another hit was her Food Network Television show. The company also offers a wide range of items ranging from cooking materials as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina never went to a cookery school nor did she work in a dining establishment. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her relaxed approach to entertaining as well as her simple cooking style is well-known. The most well-known recipes are Skillet - Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
