Zoe-perry

Perry is a Chicago native birthed to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first TV roles included two roles in the role of Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mother. In fear of stress, her parents did not want to see her pursue acting before turning 18. Perry she was shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry had the opportunity to secure tiny TV roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent following her graduation. Homesickness, however, led her back to California to return, where she started to work in the stage. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. In the year 2015, she was with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry starred in the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's show The Family. In 2017, she played her own recurring part on the ABC Political thriller Scandal starring her father. That same year she played a young version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother in a younger version. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she got the part through an audition.
